Consultation has concluded

The Comprehensive Plan is the community’s vision for Blacksburg’s future. This is the document that helps guide decision making in our community. The plan covers topics such as sustainability, housing, infrastructure and public services, economy, transportation, parks, and land use.

On April 27, 2021, Town Council adopted the updated Comprehensive Plan. This plan incorporates feedback from multiple community engagement surveys and we thank everyone who participated in the process. This Update includes additions and revisions to each of the 11 topical chapters and introduction of the Plan. It also includes updated data and mapping in the chapters and a new chapter on Equity & Community Wellbeing.
