Water playground feature

Thank you for the opportunity to provide ideas for the new playground! I think the original playground was already pretty awesome, but one thing it did not have is a water feature. I am from Germany and there are water playgrounds all over. It's perfect for when it's hot in the summer, but you can't or don't want to go to a pool or maybe your children are too small for a pool, but you still want them to be able to cool down a little and have fun with water play. I would love to see something like this incorporated into the new playground. Especially since we don't have any public outdoor pools in Blacksburg. Children love playing with water and my son would spend hours playing at the water playground. Added bonus if there is sand and they can build sand castles or dams, etc. I'm adding a picture from Google, but you can google "Wasserspielplatz" to see more examples. It could be build with wood to keep the look & feel of the whole playground and usually there is a manual pump to get the water flowing :)
